An Epic Core Inside The Keyboard

A powerful ARM architecture MCU equipped with 256K Flash will provide more flexibility for developers. The polling rate is 1000 Hz right out of the box, which makes the latency hardly noticeable even in competitive games.

OSA Profile Double-shot PBT Keycaps

These double-shot PBT keycaps have a similar height to the OEM profile and has an SA-like shape. We named it the OSA (OEM spherical angled) keycap. The PBT keycaps will provide excellent oil resistance, enhance the type feel, and prevent the legends from fading out.

Great Keyboard and solved a problem I had for years

For years my computer never switched the screens off or went to sleep mode. I googled for so long without ever managing to sort it out. I connected this keyboard wirelessly and 5mn later, the screens turn off!.... I had a "holy guacamole" moment and threw my previous keyboards to the bin..
One thing I'd like but that's not Keychrone's fault as it's pretty clear on their website is for the characters on the keys to let the light pass through.. it is currently nothing less than a gimmick as at night I cant see my keys at all if the screen is not bright enough.
4 stars only because I felt I was a bit tricked into thinking the delivery was going to be quick when it took a few weeks. Not a big deal but I would have liked to have this clearly stated somewhere during the order process.

Key switches did not fit in some of the holes

When inserting my keyboard switches (Gateron Baby Kangaroos) the 4th row had some slots in which my switches did not fit. I had to disassemble and see what the issue was to find that the plastic pegs on the switch were too big for the ones on the PCB. I had to snip the plastic peg for the connection to happen - it's a possibility that I was given a faulty keyboard. After that I wanted to create macros using VIA, but VIA did not work as the firmware recognises a Keychron V5, not a V5 MAX. Nonetheless you can still use the remapper that Keychron provides, though I would still like to use VIA.

A few couple since using the keyboard and I'm currently enjoying it. I like the various RGB backlights and the different way you can connect the keyboard.

Overall, typing wise - it's been fine so far, but assembling and setting it up was a pain.

Great keyboard

I fit some SA key caps and tactile switches and the quality from the keyboard when you press the key is very nice and gives a great satisfying feedback when bottoming out. The sound is also very nice.
